my F1 project birds come out of these

Just weighed the F2 eggs 102.8 grams some of the older ones are up to now.

Sally, one of these days when I'm not already overrun with too many chicks, I'm going to ask to buy some hatching eggs from your project birds - I have been SO impressed...

Well, folks, I think I may have a stress fracture or some similar type injury of my foot. It hurts A LOT, and it's that deep bone pain hurt, and it's swollen. I had SO much I needed to do today, and I got almost none of it done - though I did partially puzzle out my egg eater situation. (Dax, I've been thinking about you constantly - is your injury left or right?)

I can't have this - I HAVE A THREE DAY WEEKEND! AND CHORES TO DO! AND ANOTHER BROODER TO SET UP! AND GROWOUT PENS TO BUILD! AND AND AND....

Sorry, I wasn't intending to complain so much as I just needed to vent my frustration.

Thanks! He produced olive eggs and ended up mean so he went to a friends house. She had to transport him in a large dog kennel. He weighed over 9 pounds closer to 10. He has a guinea for a friend along with his hens. I ended up buying two more from a different breeder.

All that and he lays eggs, too?! That's an impressive rooster!

Saw the chick pic... Awesome!!! They are just so cute!

How many do you usually hatch a month?
I dont know I just sell them, almost hatch every week, week half? just set another tray in the cabinetcooler last night and another 30 serama in the cooler, still fert issues with them, about 75% now at least

I think I'm going to get an incubator to use as a hatcher (and back up incubator if needed) that has a lot of space and a good clear viewing window. What do you guys think of the Hovabator Genesis? I would calibrate, of course, as I would anything.

Thanks. It really is JUST enough to make me feel stupid for complaining, yet keep me from doing the things I need to do.

Final outcome of the CL hatch was 14 out of 15 set, with one put down after assist. The one with splay leg had his widdle itty bitty brace come off today (today was day 4). Doing well (a bit of a wide stance, but getting around great), as are all the remaining 13, including three that I helped out.

The NNs are on day 16 today. After Joey completely creeped me out with his clown gore, he made it up to me by advising me on the too big air cells. After 48 hours, no appreciable growth in them, so leaving it at 50% until lock down (then will push to 65%). He was forgiven.
