Just got notice that my 2nd thermo/hygro has been shipped, which got me to wondering how long it would take if I had an Amazon Distribution Center just on the other side of my town, like #1 son does. I might get next-day service...be neat if they had a drive thru window.

Ain't they trying to figure out how to get drones to deliver some stuff?

It would be within hours.

By the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY birthday boy.

Don't know about that, but I know there are places in the West, where there are single ranches encompassing 1000's of acres apiece, where mail is dropped from single-engine planes flying regular routes, which may explain why shipped eggs suffer so much damage

How would a shipper ever pack eggs for such a situation? Parachute, perhaps, onto a specific drop zone containing multiple water bed mattresses?
