I used to work with a gentleman that wouldn't drive his vehicle more than within a 5 mile radius of his house.
Was he replacing exhaust systems often?
That's my problem, I usually only drive to Lowe's and the car doesn't heat up all the way by then.

My '05 Dakota is wracking up the miles, too; rolled by 58,000 a couple weeks ago.
I put 270,000 on my first F150 and never did any work to the engine, clutch or tranny. I sold it to a friend to tow his race car. I don't know how many miles he put on it.

Usually when the get to the point of needing more money dumped into them than they are worth and I can't do the work I will sell them to the scrap yard and go buy another one. My last three vehicles I've paid a grand total of about $2,000 for including my current one. Drove the first two for a little over a yr a piece and am on yr 2 with my current ride. Add in that I've probably gotten back about 25% of my money in scrap value and that ain't to bad a return.
That's the way to do it.
I was in a mode for quite a while of buying the cheapest thing I could and drive it till it quit. (I think I'm in that mode again) I bought a '73 Mercury Capri for $300. Everything worked on it but after 18 months, I got tired of it not dying and I wanted a change so I sold it for $500.

My son bought a '85 BMW E28 (528E) for $500. The DPO did all the regular maintenance but none of the big stuff. We ended up replacing virtually everything under the car. They are surprisingly easy to work on. He drove it for 2 years and sold it for $500 but we had a lot of money in parts.

no,others have it
If it's an unhealed navel, your incubator temp was likely too high.

Motorcycle chick is he tall, When tall people place things they are usually up high out of mosts eyesights. Look ontop of high to reach places.
He is. I did, but thanks.
I've left my keys in the door before. Had a hard time finding them the next day as well.
We very seldom lock the house doors; I don't even carry a house key. The only times I've ever lost my truck keys were when I carried them on a bolt snap on my belt; the bolt would catch on something & the key ring would come loose. I leave them in the ignition unless I'm parking the truck somewhere other than home , unless there's not going to be anyone home for an extended period, like a week or more.
If I don't lock the house, things go missing. Neighbors/cousins are thieves.
@MotorcycleChick Did you check the back of the toilet Either on the tank, behind it, or if you have one of those racks that goes over the toilet Bathroom time!
I checked there too.

I would suggest checking IN the toilet but I would hope that it gets flushed more frequently than once a month.
I check inside despite childproofing. And I began flushing the toilet at least twice a month just this year as a New Year's resolution!!
Is there any natural type thing that could help the lungs? Family is doing good and I'm working to much. Finally got home about an hour ago, makes for a long day and don't get to spend much time with kids before bed.
I just talked to my friend in MI. She says a cut onion in your room helps with bacterium in the air. Discard daily. I looked it up online. Onion tea or soup helpful too.

Well looks like the weather that passed through some of the others area yesterday and last night has made it to my neck of the woods. Just got done with the first warning and more expected into the afternoon.
Stay safe.

when I was pregnant I would put things away in the craziest places
funny you mention when you were pregnant. Wife "lost" a bottle of mustard and new roll of aluminum foil back a few years ago when she was pregnant with our daughter. Found it several months later upstairs in our spare bedroom closet.
:duc
I saw a commercial awhile back where this crazy lady lost her keys, and her husband found them in the freezer. Reading your post made me think of the commercial. Have you checked your freezer? :lau

Well, I certainly don't have that excuse. I have checked the toy boxes, her dresser, her changing table, the diaper bag, my tool box, her crb, under the counters, under the couch in her cabinet. And yes, I really have checked the freezer and refrigerator. I'm in trouble. Not only do I have to pay for a new post office key, but I have to get a whole new lock for the door now.
couch? she put them under the bed or in the pillowcase
How could frostbite affect fertility? Frostbite usually happens on the other end of the chicken from the fertility maker.
It doesn't. It is however an urban myth that continues to surface. It may cause them to breed less if they feel like crap.
edited the post and added your comment, thanks. I was going to suggest it on the back and running to one side, but either way water will be annoying at either end unless she pipes it away.
Most of my coops have guttering. One is piped to the compost piles.
paddler have you ever helped on a hatch a long? ...
Do you mean help a chick hatch?

Actually I have, rarely, if I was sure the problem was my (incubator's) fault.

OOOHH!! I was pretty active on the NYD HAL 2 or 3 years ago.

No problem. But seriously let me know.

Not under the bed, in the bed or in/under the couch.

Are you saying she is a crazy lady?
My key stays in the ignition too. If it's not there it's either in one of the doors or trunk or someone else drove it. We have a keypad entry for the back and I don't think any of us has carried a house key in over 20 years. Never lock the cellar or carriage house. I used to when I went on vacation but I'm almost always here now. I need to buy one of those.
Same here...my keys are always in my ignition...unless I have to leave my pistol in the truck....then I lock it....don't have house keys either...howdy...Canoe

What color light in in the brooder. Maybe try a dimmer light. If you don't have blu-kote, separate it till it heals or the others won't leave it alone.

vent or cloaca

I used to do that but sometimes they wouldn't die and I had to sell them at a profit sometimes.

My son currently owns a Nissan and it's the only Japanese car that anyone in the family has ever owned.
I was going to say I mostly only owned Fords and European cars but then I remembered.
A '50 Dodge convertible, a '55 Chevy, a '62 Olds Super 88, a '65 Rambler Classic convertible - it was chocolate with white interior.

Engine's holding up great, as is the transmission. I had one in my focus too.
I'm not remembering the mounts. I've replaced the rack and pinion, all the tie rod ends, front hub, rear sway bar mounts and all those type parts. I sure wish I had replaced the axle when I did the hub but it didn't make any noise till a week after that job was done. I was right there, Now I have to take all that apart again.

I missed a few when I was a kid but that's been a while.
How'd you like to have that '55 Chevy in your garage today?

Heck yes, That is what I need. I will get one tomorrow. Really rocky terrain here.

Just don't walk off & leave it laying in the field like she did in the video  :gig
It ain't against the rules to tilt the post over to put the driver on,either, so you don't have to lift that heavy thing over your head.:gig

I'm too short, so I tilt mine over.
