No more surgery, at least not till I screw it up badly enough to replace the whole thing, which I hope is still many years away!
Everyone keeps telling me to slow down on the sports, hobbies and other activities, but my motto has always been ' I may be getting older, but I absolutely refuse to grow up'

Anyways, have a good night everyone.

My favorite motto is from Peter Pan... "I'll never grow up!" Never grow up, never grow old... right?

Have a good night yourself, cc!!!

So you're going to incubate them on the presumption they might be fertile? If they're not, you're just wasting them anyway.

Personally, if my birds had started laying and I wanted to hatch some, I would at least crack the first few to know if I was actually accomplishing anything by tending to the bator for 21 days. Would be worse to find out 3 weeks late that my eggs weren't fertilized. Just saying...

No, the main bulk I'll be hatching are probably (need confirmation on availability) from someone else that hatches a lot, I'm just throwing in 2-4 of my own to see what happens.... I sure wouldn't set ONLY iffy eggs! ;)

That makes a little more sense... but if your birds are laying, and you really want some babies from them, why not check a couple of them while you're waiting for confirmation on availability? Won't your birds lay some more between now and then? Of course, if you don't care whether they hatch or not, then there's nothing to lose by not checking. Okay... I'll shut up now. You know what you're doing...

@Ur-ur-ur-urrr
True.... I am checking every egg I use for baking, and almost 100% of the brown eggs are infertile. 40% of the EE are... :rant :(
But now that you mention it, I probably should crack the oldest banny egg to see what's in there.

And no, don't shut up! :hugs
I greatly appreciate every speck of input; and I do not know what I'm doing... :p
Every time I read this thread I learn something else; which is why I make the time to read every single post. I may have learned some, but the more I do the more I see I know nothing..... So keep talking! :bow
