I'm not sure whether WA has Crappie or not; a visit to the WA DNR site should tell you. Crappie & Walleye are both freshwater species, and can be caught on live bait or artificials,

I can talk Crappie to you all day, but if you want to chase Walleye, Phil is more your man. @LittleLakePhil

Well now I got to google!!!! Most of the lakes here are planted... with trout. We go to the rivers to fish Salmon, which I LOVE... but I eat seafood so I am down researching.

Are ya'll talking .. fishing? I have some photos..let's see if you know what type of fish this is that my daughter caught. She is in the back behind her husband...with the sunglasses on. That thing was heavy, so he held it. Fish Lake in Utah. They released it. :)

Here's another one to guess on..Me at Lake Powel...waaay back in the day. 70's. This is easy..what kind of fish?

That one with my daughter is a lake trout. They get kind of big out here. There have been larger ones caught at this lake. Now, Have to find another photo of her.

If you're Googling, you'll find Black Crappie & White Crappie...they like different habitat, have different markings. Blacks are what I fish for.
