Bubbles, do I get put on the list with my quail hatch I will be setting tomorrow at 4... 11 eggs total in my bator... Sally knows the name of it. I cant ever keep it in my head.

My brother in law, who has raised chickens for a long time and has had multiple bators told me today that the average hatch rate for store bought bators was 30 percent.. now granted, I don't know if he is FOS

I think I'd have to disagree with that. If I'm not mistaken Ur had 100% with a store-bought last time around, SC did the same last fall if I recall correctly. As long as mine continues to work as well as it does, with no more hatching than I do, I'll stick with it; I have capacity for 42 eggs at a time, which I'll never need.
