Sooner or later today, I really need to find a place for the chicks. I can split them into two brooders, but it would be nice to get them out of my bedroom. They're in my skin problem. ( I typed "therein lies the problem" autocorrect changed it!

There really isn't anywhere in my house that I can put a brooder or two that Duckling doesn't have too easy of access to. It looks like I'm going to need to build something inside the main coop.

Good morning everyone. I hope you are all well. Please let me know if I missed anything big yesterday. I will try to read back later.
Questions: I have some chicks that hatched on Christmas day and some from January 20-21. I will be finished covering with hardware cloth the mobile coop that none of the sick birds were near. One are the five weekers old enough to go out? Two wouldn't this be the easiest time to put them together since it will be new territory for them all as they have lived in the house?
Lowest overnight low predicted this week is 30.

BTW does anyone see a cockrel in the bigger bunch? I know there is a Welsummer cockrel in the little ones.
