Yes, they are pretty tough little feather dusters. Mix of my EE's and my Columbian Rocks mostly. The parent stock are both very weather hardy!
As for the temp conversion, it just seems easier for everyone, I am of an age where I was taught both Fahrenheit and Celsius in school, my kids and grandkids can't even do the conversions they are so indoctrinated into Celsius. :gig

:hugs   hi cc, hope your knee is all but healed now! I know it will always bug you but hopefully no more major issues!
interesting on the birds out that young!! was in the 70s here today!!! I am still Hot!!!

Knee is good, been skating but hockey season is over according to the doc, DW, and my physio terrorist. :(
The birds were surprisingly adaptable, but I'd did put them in the small coop inside my horse barn almost zero draft, and lots of ground level nesting boxes so they huddled pretty good together.
I did post the same day I moved them that I found 10 hatchlings in the loft in the barn, scooped em up when mom was at the feeder, seem to be three maybe four days old when I found them! Brought inside to the brooder, all ten are running around healthy and growing fast! It was 10 degrees the day I found them!

:idunno

Will your doc still let you play pond hockey? :fl

Hope yer knee gets better. :hugs

@Sally Sunshine I have hatching eggs, but they are mixed. Possibly I could separate the hen and Roo to only get Rhode Island Reds? I might be able to do a hatching egg gift for HAL, we will see what I can do. I will separate them this week if I can.
