Top o' the mornin' to you, Sir Joseph.
I trust the twisters let you alone yesterday

@ChickenCanoe welcome back (yes, last night). I hope you keep feeling better.
Us Missourians and Ozarkians have to stick together.

It's definitely a part of me. I quit the league I'd been in for 10 years when we moved up here. It was just too far to drive. Stayed out for a season, but couldn't figure out what to do on Sunday evenings; I'd spent the last 520 of them in the alley. Hooked up with a local team, and have pretty much bowled at least one league a week ever since, plus a few summer leagues and tournaments.
I like to bowl, always have but not sure I'm a league type person. I was on a league at work for one season and didn't like it. The reason was that I worked nights and the league was on Monday mornings. I liked to go camping, fishing, canoeing on weekends and normally I'd come back in time to go to work on Monday evening. All during the league I had to cut my trips a day short or not go at all. And the league lasted sooo long. My average dropped steadily throughout the season.
I think it also seemed like drudgery having to look forward to 10 hours on an assembly line after bowling.
I'm sure if I had a normal job and could do a night league I'd look at it differently.
The alley was just across the street from work. St. Louis is a big bowling town. The bowling hall of fame is here. Dick Weber lanes is a big thing right in my neighborhood.

Spent some time outdoors again this afternoon, and watching my birds. I couldn't help but notice on of my RIR hens showing the classic "brick" shape... and it made me long even more for the purebreds I desire. I hope it isn't much longer before the dream becomes a reality...

...
looking good

Alright! Out of my Ayam Cemanis, day 8, 6 were definently alive and moving! Others look like clears, and one is definently clear. One has a thick protruding band around the bigger part of the egg, not visually noticeable unless you're looking straight at it. It is hard to see, but alive. Hard to candle but I did it. I'm so excited!
Good Luck.

It is, for sure. High 40's at the moment, but pushing 80 by 2 PM. Gotta love it.
I can't believe it is early March and I've been working outside at 6 AM the last 2 mornings in a t-shirt.
