So how long do I need to wait after zip starts before I help???? I woke up at 630 and well the zip is still the same as it was then. It has not changed and the chick is making the stressed call.

My @ linking won't work. I'm not hatching right now. No active roosters and the two hens I got from elsewhere have been away from their rooster long enough that they aren't fertile anymore. They still aren't laying.
My incubator is a homemade aquarium incubator. It will be tested in February-ish when my older ladies get friendly with my new roos.
