Stop beating up on yourself

@JillZ do you have images? I am not sure what your looking at, your saying he ruptured the yolk sack? he is in the shell how can you see its yolk?SOS! Day 23. I have a peep trying so hard to escape its shell. Pipped on the evening of the 21st. Very late last night at the 24 hour mark, I attempted to help with the zip. It appeared then that the gray membrane was like rubber. I had not opened the membrane at all, though there was an opening in it near the beak, only continued with the small zip around the egg. This little one has continued to chirp the entire time! I figured I had lost it last night, but this morning still chirping. I just attempted to help out more, but the membrane is Glued to its head. At the bottom of the shell there is soggy yolk! What in the world to do now? It just keeps chirping!

awwww thats not yolk, your humidity was too high
take him and wash him with soap and warm water under the spicket, dont get any water in his nostrils dry with cloth and warm in the brooder right away.. you can put betadine or iodine on the navel area to prevent infection. you can come back with images of navel and legs after you take care of it
he may have feet issues
see the orthopedic section here if he does https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/incubating-w-friends-helpful-notes-links-informational-post-links
