She smells like cat, and I feel like crap.

She is spending time with her grandmother and 2 aunts. I feel like the flu is back or never left.

LLPhil said he does, didn't he?
Maybe I did. But I won't admit to it.

At the moment anyway.

No need. I think she knows.
No. I will probably lose her permanently very soon.

I have to. No one else is around to help.

Wouldn't you like to know?

Yea but if you feel like crap it's usually not a good idea to continue doing stuff regardless if help is available or not. If you keep wearing yourself out while you are sick than you'll never get better.
Yes, thats usually why one asks such questions.

I was surprised to just learn that Starbucks now sells beer.
That, and the keg of beans is all that I could find.
I would happily offer up my IV, but as you can see I am using it.
You are full of AWESOME sauce!!!! Thank you!!!!! I really needed it (see below).

Quote: That may work - perhaps I can even create that in my head - every week or so, just think "OMG, Sally might come over this weekend!!!!" and then I'll go into a frenzy (gotta impress Ms. Sally!!!)

OK, so I was having a hard time reading the calibrated thermometer display in the incubator this morning as I walked by on the way to the kitchen to make coffee (it had shifted), so I opened the incubator very quickly to shift it. Then when I swung by about 10 minutes later, the temp was only 99.6°F - as I watched, the next reading was 99.2, then next 99.0, then 98.8... (I got it switched to F). I watched, and it kept slowly going down! I though, OMG, what's wrong with this incubator???!!!

So I took the calibrated thermometer out and did the data logging download (logs the temp and humidity each minute) - solidly running between 100.5°F and 101.2°F all night (which is where I wanted it), until this morning. As I was putting it back in, I realized - I must not have put the lid back on correctly the first time (in my caffeine-deprived state), and it was losing heat.

USER ERROR!!!!!

It's holding a very nice 100.6°F now, thankyewveerymuch. (Humidity is higher than I'd like at 45%, but ambient humidity is 72%, so that can't be helped - it'll come back down soon now that the lid is back on properly

, and it's supposed to dry out this weekend.)

So... everyone out there, ensure good lid placement practices. In fact, I would strongly recommend NOT touching the incubator until you've had AT LEAST two cups of coffee.

@Chaos18@mrleeroy well I came out to grab a picture and realized the info was on the inner side of the adaptor.

Funny thing is, I plugged it back in thinking I'm gonna have to do that thing with the wire again.
It's running....

Hello to anyone still here and good night to all those leaving!!!

Well, I just picked up 21 eggs that I am hatching for someone else and realized I only have room for 11. I know I need to candle, But even if I see clears on day 5 or 7, I still leave them in. Can I stack them in an egg turner?
NO lol so what is your update Kathy? @Jessimom

If a chick has one leg straight out behind/side it is that splayed leg? Do I tie the legs together? This chick is over a week old and I have not seen this.
@Sally Sunshine
ohhhh dang dax! I never have luck with those kind. did you check out orthopedics?

I dont know if anyone is uo but we nust candled and nailed it! Most eggs had veins(though we couldnt see a lot of them cuz brown eggs) and the aircells were for the most part the size they should be. Some were a little small though. We are ready for next candle!!
GOOD NEWS MATT!!!

These are the ones that hatched 10 days ago

And these are my eggs for the Easter Hal

Now if this post doesn't have any pictures I just proved my computer illiteracy again!
HOW CUTE!!!!!

So quick question, ive had my humidity at about 30%. The air cells are spot on so far. Should i raise humidity to 35-40%?
if your air cells are good why change anything? @lozerface79

both fans are connected to the adaptor wire at separate points. And both connected to the same sides of wiring. I tried looking for a simple diagram of parallel vs. Series. Either you or @Chaos18 mind posting a picture of your fan wiring.

Sorry had to make these real quick...

 Good Morning Banti!

I was glad to see you have so many eggs developing.

Oh, I was thrilled! I couldn't belive BOTH of Jace's eggs were developing! :weee
I didn't think they were fertile... I have never been so happy to be wrong!

Morning chaos.... None.... I am not candling until day 7.... I might be exited, but I do have self control! :caf
-Banti

Tomorrow is day 7 for me and I've done surprisingly well with self control lol...

However, I must have chicks and hatching on the brain because I know I've been having dreams about them
