....well there was the time when animal control came out to look for bears on the property and searched the entire place looking for plants that weren't let's say the normal garden variety.

I don't think I would go over 100.

I would start at the local recycling or appliance stores and ask if they have any that they were getting rid of and might donate to a chicken freak like me.

That's a decent possibility with the appliance stores. Most of the recycling centers I talked to weren't very helpful. They said something about them being taken out of service and not being allowed to give them away. Power company did a rebate program back a few years ago where you could get credit if you upgraded appliances but they would cut the cords off your old ones when they came to pick them up. Similar scenario I think.

Usually if you start talking chicken they'll give you just about anything to get you out if the store.

They said something about them being taken out of service and not being allowed to give them away. One of the counties near me allow people to put trash (good stuff) on the street every quarter for trash day. Most of it never makes it to the dump. People fight over this stuff.

Our appliance recycler is pretty cool guy.
