How hard it to dose the chickens with liquid safeguard?

HEYQuick question. I had to move the broody, as you all know. Now she seems stressed and is almost looking for her eggs when they are right Infront of her face. Will she eventualy settle down?

YAY I need to add you to the hatching list Phil!!! more details!!! breed how many set day is today obviously!!!! go babies!Eggs are in the batorimages? see the umbilical section of the notes tooOne of the chicks seemed to have the umbilical cord around its leg, and pulled it's belly button out a bit? I was able to get the cord off the leg. It's still alive and moving around. Should I do anything to the navel? Will my listening to Pink Floyd continuously effect the development of my ducklings?.....Eggs are in the bator

J2205 Objectives/Goals If you add the audio stimulation of a hen(s) clucking to incubating eggs you will have an increase in the hatch rate verses either eggs incubated in silence or eggs incubated with ambient noise. Methods/Materials Our materials included the eggs (99), incubators (3), and audio players (2) to play the audio stimulation. We gathered the eggs from the breeds of chickens we wanted to have chicks from, then we added an equal number of each breed's eggs to the incubators and rolled the eggs three times each day until day 19. We recorded the chicken sounds from our chicken barn and started playing it every day for the last ten days of the experiment, we also added the music stimulation to another incubator for the last ten days. We recorded the hatching results from each incubator and calculated the hatch rate for each incubator. Results Our experiment was a success. We discovered that the music stimulated eggs were the first to hatch and had the highest hatch rate of 74%. The eggs stimulated with a recording of chickens clucking hatched second and had a hatch rate of 70%. Our control incubator with no stimulation only resulted in a 27% hatch rate. Conclusions/Discussion After our experiment we conclude that both the audio stimulation types improved the hatch rates of our chicken eggs. We also feel the fact that both stimulated incubators started hatching before thenon-stimulated incubator is also proof that our hypothesis was correct. Can we get more eggs to hatch by playing chicken sounds next to the incubators during days 12 to 21.
Effect of prenatal chronic noise exposure on the growth and development of body and brain of chick embryo

Abstract
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3931211/
Context:
Noise acts as an environmental stressor as has been demonstrated by an increased brain acetyl cholinesterase activity as well as elevated plasma corticosterone and adrenocorticotropic hormone levels. Noise can lead to neurodegenerative changes in the brain and in the ear.
Aim:
This study was undertaken to investigate the effect of chronic noise on growth and development during the sensitive period of embryonic life.
Materials and Methods:
In this study, we analyzed the body weight, brain weight and brain size following prenatal chronic noise exposure. Fertilized eggs of domestic chicks were exposed to chronic excessive acoustic stimulation with frequency of the sound ranging from 30 to 3000 Hz with a peak at 2700 Hz was given at 110 dB sound pressure level from embryonic day (E) 10 until hatching.
Results:
An appreciable decrease in body weight, brain weight and brain size was evident in the experimental group exposed to noise. A generalized decrease in the neuronal nuclear size and increase in the density of neurons was also observed.
Conclusion:
These observations could be an indicator of growth and developmental retardation following exposure to noise.
How did you controlled the genetic variances in the same breed? Which can affect the fertility, and htchability? The technical variability in the incubators that you have used that affect the sucsses persantage? And did you majored the Db of the voises you used? And did you made t tests to see if the different results have statistical significance?I also am curious as to the effects of music on incubating eggs... Sometimes the volume just has to go up. Electric guitars tend to make lots of noise too... I can't help itWill my listening to Pink Floyd continuously effect the development of my ducklings?.....http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3931211/

So, I was checking on my broody this morning and I see this big hole next to her and the food dish was pulled over there half empty. I keep watching and a gopher pops out eats some of the food and leaves! The hen just sits there calm as can be. She hasn't lost any eggs or anything. The eggs are on day 21 and now I have to move the broody! Now I see why some of you cement the floor of your coop!
@Sally Sunshine
Good morning Sally yes getting lots done. Well as much as I can with a chest cold since week ago Friday
Here's picture of Altsteirers that I hatched for NYHAL not all made it in to picture but it's the first time I've caught them napping.
