My Farm Innovators incubator is finally sorta stable... It changes from 95-97. Safe for hatching?
According to what I just read in Sally's notes on p 1. incubators with fans should be set @ 99.5; still air (no fan) @ 102

I'd bump it up a bit, giving the temp time to stabilize between adjustments.

Alright, I gave up. This incubator is not working. I broke and took the tray out of IncuView, and it looks like this now. I just hope the chicks don't bash the other eggs around, but I have no idea what I can use as a barrier between them...

Look it up Brother

Its not unheard of
OK; I stand corrected. I wouldn't have believed it had I not seen it!
What ever possessed me to doubt you?

However, this brings up another question: Why wouldn't ping pong balls work just as well, assuming they're cheaper than golf balls?
Because they'd be crushed inside the snake & eventually be passed?

So I needed a quick invention as a barrier so the other eggs didn't get knocked around by the hatchlings. So I looked around my room, and there's a shoe box! The panel had two holes on a section too tall for tha bator, but then I folded them over and put the turner arm through one of the holes to keep it standing up. It works! I'm relieved now... I really didn't want the younger eggs knocked everywhere.

No, because the golf ball is very hard to regurgitate, the ping pong ball is easy to regurgitate. When a snake eats an egg, they eat it whole. It breaks as they swallow it, and they actually regurgitate the shell, as it is pretty strong for even them to digest.
