When buying a monitor for Duckling, I bought the video monitor so I could use it in the coop in a few years! It also has the night vision, and tells me the temperature in the room. Very handy stuff for the chicks' first night outside!
So far, I have used it for lock down as well. It is really nice not having to check the incubator 1 million times!

Made a temporary brooder for out in the coop. I warned the DH I was raiding his garage today if he didn't finish the coop renovations this last weekend.

Hi Kathy good to hear from you! I still have poopy butt bird, and I had to cull the spraddle leg chick. Other than that everyone seems to be well and growing. The big group moved to the main coop and are happily exploring or huddled in the corner depending on personality.Hello @Sally Sunshine and everyone!
