Surprisingly I came to check on the broody and found an empty shell and a partially wet chick under her. I am suprised that it hatched. I didn't think it could even hatch by itself. That amazed me

What you have is fine, it's the same thing as the one labeled for sheep and goats. Heck, I think they make a third called "Multi-Species" that's labeled for horses, cows, pigs, sheep and turkeys. All these product are 0.5%.

Thanks, Kathy, you saved me a trip. Now all I have to do is wait 'til the feeder needs filling again (which should be in a day or two) so I can get the right mix of feed & medication.

Again, Thank You...you're a bit of alright, as the Brits say. Whatever would we do w/o you?

Quote: You're welcome! You might want to empty their feeders and start worming them sooner rather than later, 'cause worms can do a lot of damage. I'll spare you all the gory pictures, but trust me, this can be life threatening. Those worms the vet called whip worms were probably capillary worms, and those can do tons of damage to the esophagus, crop and intestines. FYI, dog whip worm eggs look almost exactly like capillary worm eggs, so I think that's why the vet said whip.

Here are some picture of worm eggs
