ANYONE EVER SEE THIS ????????????????????????????????? @casportpony @Duck Lady ANCONA DUCK BEAK She is doing well eating and drinking!!!!
I agree with what someone else said, looks like a cleft palette (sp?). You're very lucky that it's eating and drinking well. I had a turkey poult that hatched with half of its beak like that but it also had a severe cross beak and didn't make it. Good luck!

Cool Benny!

Here is a cross post- sorry if you've read and responded on the other threads, I'm trying to get as many opinions as possible and this is the most active thread!

I am raising a mind flock complete with: CL, Bielefelders, BCM, Australorps, golden laced wyandotte, lavender Orpingtons, lavender Cochins, olive and Easter Eggers. I'd like to two cockerels (maybe three) but am trying to decide on which one: BCM, CL or a Bielefelder...or all 3. My flock, with them included, is at 25. All 3 are still young~ between 6-10 weeks, so they're all sweet. What is everyone's experience with their Roos? Means and Biels seem to have the best reps... I'm also contemplating the lavender Orpington or Cochin just because they're so pretty and my girls are gorgeous!

Morning everyone!

I thought I'd be driving to the PO to pick up some chicks today, but nope. The hatchery took my money, sent me an invoice with a ship date on it (the 30th) and I haven't heard a thing since! No confirmation email saying they shipped.....just nothing! This is ridiculous. I don't think I'll be ordering from them again

Good Morning! I have 2 OE eggs left in the bator that should hatch today or tomorrow. Then I can clean the bator and take a week off. Then I am going to set more cortunix quail and a dozen Silver Penciled Wyandotte bantams. Meanwhile I am going to work on finishing the Wyandottes new digs.

I am going to put a nest box on the right too so that if I decide in the future to run two breeding groups I can can put a divider in the chicken house and the pen,
awesome!!! its getting there!!!!
