Glad to hear you got the brace off finally! It took about a month to loosen all the tendons and muscles when I broke mine 2 years ago. Hope you recover quickly!

Hope you got the mower figured out. 11 volts at the solenoid makes me wonder about the battery. If it is internally shorted, it may have the voltage, but not enough amperage to engage the solenoid. That may be why you show no voltage downstream of the solenoid.

The fugly facial features on Muscovey can be bred out with careful selection. I find my muscoveys to be much better at fly and tick control than my Peking, rouens and runner ducks.

@MotorcycleChick
Hard to tell from the pics, but I would lean towards Pekin rather than Muscovey. Even at a young age, you can see the caruncle starting to form on Muscovey

While my physio terrorist is very attractive, she is not my type. Any woman who can make me cry with the gentlest touch is a woman to be respected, if not feared.

Go get those steelhead!

Have a good night all!
You may have something there...G'nite

So if I run jumpers from the truck to the mower battery should it start?

I would try it on the cables, with the mower battery disconnected.
If it is a bad integral short, leaving the battery In the circuit will draw all the amperage from the truck as well. If the short is really severe, it could damage the truck alternator or battery as well.
Had a similar problem on one of my trucks, wouldn't even engage solenoid, tried boosting with the battery in the circuit and the solenoid just clicked. Disconnected and went straight to the cables and boom! Truck started no problem.
Worth a try. :idunno

I'll give that a shot tomorrow, & let you know the outcome. If the battery is shorted, WallyWorld is going to hear about it. I bought it there, & they're the one who told me yesterday that it's good.

Wallyworld ...... The 'tech' probably did not do a load test on it. That would have indicated a short.
I can't tell you how many times I have seen a 'licensed' mechanic test a battery and say it was good because it shows twelve volts on the tester, but didn't know you have to push the load button to actually test it. It's sad, but most techs these days are replacement artists, not trouble shooters. :rant
