Whoever was advising me about my soil test that showed an extremely high level of phosphorus, there's good news. The soil test showed 712, which I thought was parts per million. I talked to my state horticulture agent yesterday and he said it was pounds per acre - 2 completely different things. He dis the conversion for me and it comes out to about 150 ppm. That is still high but not a huge concern. He was impressed with the soil test.

If you talk to much than what do I do?

Thanks for the nice sunrise. The sun is just coming up here, but where I am unloading this morning the sun is rising over the junkyard across the street. Not exactly a Hallmark photo :)

Funny you mention this. Wife and kids brought me to work this morning. There is a new car dealership that is in the beginning phase of being built on our route. As we passed it this morning the sun was coming up. Son saw it and was very excited.
Son "look what an awesome sunrise"
Me "Oh yeah buddy that is pretty"
Son "it is pretty cool, but I like all the equipment more"
Me to Wife "Hmm guess it's all about perspective"

@ChickenCanoe. I am planning on selling the sow and babies. Pigs are expensive to feed, and I need to cut expenses. I will just go back to my old way. I will buy a pair when I have three people who want sides. I will raise the pigs and they pay for the pigs and feed. We all get a side and pay our processing. I am not doing it again like last fall. Money needs to be at least in part up front so I don't get stuck with a hog.
As to the cockerels, I like the adjacent idea, and will develop a way to do that in the future. For now, I think I will use one of the meat cockerels born March first. I will have to watch though because the meat birds are not aggressive at all.
Thanks for the rooster input. I have RIR or LO cockerels at this point for my Barred Rock pullets. That will make nice sex links. Here are two from my Christmas hatch, and two of the three survivors of my original flock :) :(

Yes, things are all about perspective. You get that truck fixed?

Roll on? Are you in an old folks home needing medication?

Yes he is

Not yet. Got the last of the parts yesterday. Might pull an all nighter tonight. We will see how it goes. Pinion gear wound up being shot so instead of a somewhat complex seal and bearing replacement it turned into a complete rear end rebuild.
