Shalom dear BC, how do you feel?

Scared. I am afraid when I begin to cry in a few hours, I won't be able to stop! I wish "I don't want him to be dead, so he isn't " worked.
I do have to go to sleep. I have to leave for the funeral in six hours. I just got to my mother's.

From 10 hatch got 4 BPR mails
4 BPR females, 2 Araucana females! 60% females is a good ratio!

Help...I'm really confused. The last couple hatches I've had the same problem. Sticky chicks with an amber glue like substance. Ive been trying to keep the humidity around 20 during the first 18 days. Then at lockdown I keep it about 65 to 70. I've been trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong, every where I look the symptoms point to high humidity during the first 18 days. Is it possible thaty Humidity is to high during lock down. Some one enlighten me so I can correct my problem.Thanks IN Advance

How do your air cells look? Do they match the charts? High humidity at lock down should not be an issue if it's been appropriate before. What's your hatch % of the chicks that make it to lock down? There is an article in Hatching chicks 101 about diagnosing the hatch, I think. Or do a thread search on sticky chicks.
