Yes, there are plenty of ventilation holes... but the pips are still enclosed like an X.... but remember this is my first hatch. I have lots to learn and change for the future... on my No extras, Seahawk green duct tape holey incubator.they are still getting oxy though right?
My favorite hen, Alice is a minorca and she lays beautiful white eggs... but she doesnt do well in winter... or the rain. She acts like a puppy and follows me around and cuddles with my pit bull and mutt. What is the hatch rate on average for black copper marans? I'm lookin to diversify my egg basket next year. And is there any breed that gives nice white eggs but isn't a white leghorn? And what about a breed that always lays blue but doesn't break the bank to buy?
Well, that explains it all. Neither of you are old enough for grandkids yet. Goooood looking family.
No one has any chick or egg updates?

Also, If you cull them they are skinny. They are a Mediterranean chicken so they dont like cold... but man, I love the temperament and regalness of the breed.Aww, how cute!
