@Pensmaster , part of why I got these reusable plastic traps was to be able to try other stinky stuff in them when re-juvenating the stinky stuff. I also read about just putting chicken poo in there with water (which is what they are currently being drawn by anyway). I will definitely try this (by innards, do you mean intestines? Or organ meat?)

OK, I really should go now - I'm starting to get grumpy and won't be fit for human consumption pretty soon. Gonna go watch the new Star Wars movie. AGAIN. (Yeah, it's a sickness...)

@Pensmaster , part of why I got these reusable plastic traps was to be able to try other stinky stuff in them when re-juvenating the stinky stuff. I also read about just putting chicken poo in there with water (which is what they are currently being drawn by anyway). I will definitely try this (by innards, do you mean intestines? I want them please please please.should they be pipping internally this early.it's one of my LF eggs.witch all four hatched before the Silkie and serama last time.and the other is the fun and funky.it's beak is very skinny and narrow u can see it in the air cell.hopefully it isn't its foot

Organ meat. Use the top off plastic bag trap with the plastic container that Costco has for their nuts. Multiple reuse. Tried the poo didn't work as well.

LOL! I keep forgetting that one of the chicks likes to roost on the wall between the duck pen and the storage room. It scares the crap out of me every time I open the door at night!
