LOL! I am too. But I don't like to yell. Seeing her yell at some people is just too funny!

Thanks Dax! No worries! We can't all be here all the time...@kwhites634 Thanks for the coop advice. I really wish I could build one from new materials rather than cobbling together recycled stuff as it is harder, but it is coming along.
@HufflefluffGood luck with your hatch. Read and ask away!![]()
@attimussorry about the shipped egg hatch.![]()
@mrleeroy Sorry I have been gone and missed your birthday. Have a great year. Cute chickies.
@MotorcycleChick Welcome back, I was up this morning, but missed you wanting to chat as I was a day and a half behind.
@Jessimom Any news from UC Davis?
@Chaos18 I saw people mention jewel weed. That would have been my advice too. I hope you feel better. It grows wild and you can crush and rub the leaves and stems over the area like Aloe Vera. It likes semi shaded areas by like creeks.
@Sally Sunshine I am glad you are feeling a bit better. Have a great day. I am going to PM on eggs.
It is doing good. Thanks for asking, daxi!Did the sick one make it?
Thanks, mrleeroy!![]()
for the PO... Hope you have a good one as well!
Hey... THAT'S MY LINE!!!!

Best not to tell them what's in the box, lol. Sorry you lost more.Hi all, sorry Granny Hatchet, I know nothing about ducks. I've come across some of my chickens dust bathing looking like they were dead and spastic, but then they start wiggling and pop back up. I don't ever see any lasting effects.
But a sad, frustrating, maybe funny story...
Friday one of Gotro17's 4 month old hens died. I offered to store it until Monday, and ship it to UC Davis for her. It went into my fridge. Sunday morning when we woke up, my 11 month old silkie roo was dead. He was doubled bagged and put in the fridge with the other chicken. I tried to ship the chickens on Sunday for a Monday delivery, and found out my local Fed ex store doesn't ship dead animals. Only the store about 15 miles away, but they weren't open on Sunday.
So, I decided to make the 99 mile drive out to UC Davis in San Bernardino, where I had been told there would be a fridge on the side of the building I could leave the birds in. I made the drive. There was no fridge. I left the styro ice chest that was taped shut, with 2 dead chickens, 5 frozen cold packs, lots of newspaper and the submission forms on their front steps.
Turns out that the person that told me there was a fridge there had done the EXACT same thing I ended up doing. The following day, UC Davis had called her and chewed her out for leaving the package on the front steps, told her that there was a fridge she should have used right around the corner, clearly marked.
Well I walked along the front, around the corner to their fenced in, locked corner. Then back around to the other side, to their fenced in area, and there was no fridge. I did call their general mail box and admit to leaving the package on the front steps.
It looked like a bomb....my father told me to watch the news today to see if they called in the bomb squad to check the suspicious package left on the front steps of UC Davis....
They haven't called to yell at me yet....and I haven't seen anything on the news...
