Anybody got remedies for sunburn besides aloe??
Is it not working?
MAY I PHONE A FRIEND PLEASE?
@LittleLakePhil #1800CALLPHIL
yes they have many foesLOL, will the fish eat big frogs, or just babies? Do Pelicans and other birds eat the frogs as well?
Quote: While walking along the pond bank one day, I spooked a large bullfrog, which tried to jump into the water. He'd have made it, too, if that large bass hadn't seen him & been waiting, mouth wide open! So, yeah, fish will eat big frogs, in a heartbeat. I've never seen a pelican in the wild, but Herons & other wading birds will take a frog, given the chance.

Frog imitations are a staple in a serious bass angler's tackle bag; I have several

So I have my bator and put in 3 farm eggs from my father in law's chickens that he brings over just to make sure that I can keep the temp and humidity right. I have 3 thermometers, lol! It took a bit of adjusting but I have the temp
Right, the humidity is a little high, hovering around 50-55, is that okay! My eggs will be here tomorrow!

This is my first time hatching eggs.
see aboveHi everyone!
I am new to this thread. I will be getting approximately 24 LF Brahma eggs through the mail in the next day or 2. I have read Sally Sunshine's info on incubating eggs and shipped eggs, but I gotta tell you, I am starting to Freak out a bit!
I have had my bator on for 2 days now, and calibrated it with an external digital thermometer/hygrometer. I trust this digital hygrometer/thermometer, because I have had a high hatch rate with chicks and ducks in the past using this.
I plan to let the eggs sit a day and then put in bator and not start turner for 3 days. It is a new KingsUro Max 20 with a very slow, steady tilt.
My biggest concern is that our house humidity is 54%, hence so is the incubator. Based on everything I have read, it should be closer to 40% the first 18 days.
Any suggestions, thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
about house humidity, is it always high like that, and you said you are reading calibrated hygro?
We have a dehumidifier, you should be ok I am really wondering what @ozexpat does about humidity at this point in his hatching, he has a farm in the Phils and its very humid. Perhaps he can led a hand because we seem to get this question more and more.
see above!Is my first time hatching eggs and I've read that you have to have a sponge in the last 3 days of incubation and therefore moisture how do I get my sponge in the bottom on my incubator being as I already have the egg turner in there full of eggs
