Now I need some coffee!

I know where you can get eggs

It was a thought before. Now... I assume you don't usually have them so cheap.

I really have been wanting a more colorful basket. Of course I now have the neighbor's chocolatey eggs in my coop... That has to stop though.
Mother's day gifts are done.
Cute

chocolatey eggs in yer coop? neighbors are laying in yer coop too? and you can stop this madness?????

Smarty pants.
A few days ago (while I was hiding) the neighbor got two BCM looking EE. They were not quarantined or cooped for two weeks to be sure they went home at night. They came straight over here when my flock heard the scratch can being shook. My flock wanders over there because I can't get them to stop letting their flock over here. Or the cats, dogs... So I stopped worrying about boundaries and everyone mingles during the day. But! My flock only allows the other flock to go so far. No run, and no eating of my scratch.
I didn't realize that the EE weren't mine. They are the right size and coloring to be mine. I thought I just hadn't noticed that some pullets were getting copper collars. Add that my flock accepted them (95% of the time. Still normal since the juveniles are still learning the ropes) and I didn't know until the neighbor wanted me to catch her pullets to give them back She then asked to enter my coop after dark to retrieve the still missing one.

Three days later, and I am now feeding the darn things, and I found two pullet eggs in my coop today. I will open them to see if they are fertile. The girls are at my house so much, I doubt the neighbors' numerous roosters got to them. I would like some darker eggs...
But I need to get the two EE out. I am processing soon, and I will probably sell off a bunch of my current pullets too. I have nine good SPR eggs about to hatch, and two more Pekin. I don't need the neighbor's chickens or the hassle when she wants them again. Cooping my birds is the only option.
Did I mention that she closes up her coop at sporadic times of the day? Whoever is in, is in. Otherwise, they are forced to fend for themselves.

One of my chicks that just hatched has a big red ball thing where the yolk would be. I think something is wrong with it. I can post picture but it isn't pretty.
