That sounds like my place if you add a sow with piglets, cows, and cats to the horses, goats, and chickensI will! I haven't checked her since this morning. I will check tonight in a couple hours when I go feed horses and goats

It's only 6:49.... Night night mc. Hugs to you.
Is it bad that I'm singing to myself... Linda's back... Back again. Linda's back, tell a friend to the tune of emenems shadys back. Lol. Yes... I know....
I just finished candling, and I think I just heard a cheap. Day 18 starts in five minutes.
I didn't candle each and every egg, but I did see one that looks like it stopped developing within the past week. Maybe three days, I would have to look at a growth chart.
I also see that I should have caught that the air cells were too small a week ago.
All in all, the chicks all seem to be alive right now. Except that one of course. To be honest, it may have been moving as well.
Yes, Banti , the two ducklings are doing okay as well.

I have a small and an extra small premier.
If you're going to hatch or brood more than once, get the premier.
I fought it a long time but when I did the math, the savings in electric cost paid for it.
For once, or if you have many more chicks to brood, get ceramic heat emitters. They come in ranges from 25-300 watts and because they don't emit light, you can give the chicks hemeral lighting. After day 3, I put them on 8 hours of darkness.
