This was a small remote pond.... Any where else those would be keepers.... But this is a trophy Lake...... You are allowed one 15" or larger Brook Trout per year..... Artificial bait only..... I've never caught a keeper here but we didn't care.... We were happy to catch a bunch of decent Trout...... And take on the scenery.....

Went well several things accomplished then I went to neighbor and we worked on one of his projects. Good to get tractor time in. Ladies are all out getting girl time in for Mother's Day.

Here is your competition Phil. While Sally had her surgery, grandma took the kids to a fishing tournament. Harmony got 2nd place of largest fish. Luke got biggest of three trout. Harmony won fishing reel and rod, Luke won tackle box. Grandma had good time.

When I lived near the biggest lake in NJ my cartop boat stayed on the roof rack when I wasn't fishing in it, which I did 3-4 days a week. I worked 2nd shift, so I had the lake to myself, at least the area I fished, 'cause everyone else was working. That also meant I fished alone most of the time. Now that I'm retired & can fish whenever I want, I'm still alone most times 'cause my fishing buddy's still working.
