I used to be grumpy about having no one to help - I have to do everything myself as well. (I DO still rail at instructions for things that say that you need two people...) But I got used to it. I also realized that I have become ornery and opinionated and stubborn enough that if anyone was around to help me, by the time we were halfway through, they would get tired of me bossing them around and go find something else to do...
