@casportpony@chicken hawk 33Yes, I collect samples and take them to the vet. It is inexpensive and she tells me what to do. Your suggestion for a new purchase of a good general wormer is a good one if you don't have somewhere inexpensive to take the sample.

On horses I use a quest or Zimectrin Gold. Then I have it checked. Pellets on cows, and I get the goats go to her for an exam shots and worming.

Last I used was Levamisole (Prohibit brand)
According to the one book I have, that looks like a good choice.

I'm guessing that CH doesn't have an established relationship with a vet, so he would probably have to pay for a for an exam and a fecal, which will probably cost more than $50. It is the right thing to do, but I don't think it's within the budget.
