And now we have my wife very nervous about ducklings appearing in about a month (nope, not happening)

I'm not having the best hatch anymore, was in the beginning. Had 4 hatch on or before day 21. Now day 22 and 2 quit after lockdown that I took it out today when I candled. 4 remaining and not even internal pips. I'll be happy with 4 but to have only 4 out of the original 32 is sad. Stupid shipped eggs

awwww I know sweets thats how shipped eggs are and you know we were on the edge with these things too, that weight loss wasnt great either

That's the thought I like, no glaring lights.  And of course, no risk of fire.  Kind of spendy  I think, but worth it sounds like.

FAR safer than a heat lamp, and a good bit cheaper than a comparable-sized Brinsea. I was telling my wife at lunch about how exxtremely glad I am for buying it. She feels the same way... lol!!!

that sucks rav, I think I have a lot of dead ones. I may cull instead of wait this pullet out, I am sellin them anyway, its not real bad but I aint keepin her with two tiny serama. I dont know, ughhh maybe let her in there, she just started up chirping and runnin around again, gettin under my skin she is, I guess I should see what the others eggs do she aint hurtin no one

Thanks, Ravyn. They do look kind of cute when they're laying flat out. A long night i , a crowded bator will wear them down pretty quick! I had 5 of these that pipped in the middle of the eggs, and against standard proceedure, I assisted pretty soon after I spotted the pips. All 5 made it out okay and are doing great. Sorry yours didn't make it...

Is ok... they are pullet eggs and they have super short legs, lol... the messed up pipper is still alive though... will see if it makes it...

I got over a doz Calls due at end of week, another 2 doz due a week from then and a huge set for NYHAL...
