Hi guys. I am in the middle of my first hatch ever and I was wondering if you all could take a look at my air cells and see if they look ok to you. They were candled on days 0, 7 and 14.

hard from a top view not seeing the depth but by this image they look like some could use a bit more and some look good!

Granddaughter finally delivered early this morning, sometime before 3. Dr's had to take it via C-section, but the little (if you call 9lb +- little) one got here all in one piece.

That would be called a keeper.

The town of Roselle, MO was the closest to our farm. I think when I was growing up the population was around 70 but in recent times the Census Bureau doesn't even count it. Back then, there was one store that was the grocery, gas station, post office, meat market and feed store. But there were 7 churches. I don't know where the parishioners came from. I guess the surrounding hills.

Today in town we have the Strawberry Festival, Tennessee Williams Festival, the Annie Malone parade (largest in the country), Uncorked (cause for the paws), Berry bike ride, MADD walk and 5K run and a couple dozen other happenings. Usually I hunker down here and avoid it all.

One can always put more clothes on. However when it's hot, you can take off as much as you want and it's still hot.

It is in the basement

Mine was in the cellar too but I moved it to the top floor for this hatch and I think the temps are more stable up there. The cellar stays in the 50s in cold weather and low 60s in hot weather.

Morning all.
We found two crying kittens last night in the open field next to us.
We had a cat get killed on our road two days ago. They must have been her kittens. Thank goodness they are old enough to eat on their own. They are my husbands cats. I am through adding more animals to take care of.
Looks like we need another grow out pen.
