DD #1 can back from college this weekend so figured I would do a huge pot of bolognaise to keep the kids going for as long as it lasts. Basically it was using what was in the house. It kinda morphed into chilli. It was SO SIMPLE and quick and the kids LOVED it so thought I would share it.
2 large onions (softened in skillet)
Red peppers, mushrooms
2 tins whole tomatoes
2 tins sweetcorn
1 tin pasta sauce
I small tin refried beans
2 lbs minced beef, 2 lbs sausage meat, handful “bacon bits” (all browned in skillet).
And magical ingredient - Worcester sauce
I had been tempted to sneak in a cauliflower too but they would probably have noticed that.
