INCUBATING w/FRIENDS! w/Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs No problem!

I just went to talk with my neighbor, she had some chickens killed by killer dogs yesterday. Now she has 3 hens and 5-6 roosters, yay for straight run. Only hens got killed!!
I am so tired of stray dogs!!!!!! She offered me the remaining hens and is gonna stew the roosters, exept for the pet one.
The only hitch is.... If I take the hens ad possibly a bantie roo for breeding, than that's 4 less chicks I can hatch next spring. They have lice, which I just finished treating mine for. I would dust them before bringing them over and still quarantine. I'm trying to decide... They are nice chickens!

Nope. I'm the cold hearted voice of reason. It's sad for the chickens, but I wouldn't take on problemed birds and knock myself out of getting something I wanted later

So since my hatch didn't go as well as planned, I picked up 4 chicks from a guy in town. He said he thought they were Amerarucans like mine but when I got them home, 3 of them have feathered feet.

mixed maybe marans mix cochins mix with them did they say they sold you pures
they are cute either way,,,, I like the one with muffs myself and he last one
