I'm interested in building an incubator, but I can't find a good "pattern" that will hold 6-10 eggs and not have hard to find parts. Any ideas? I looked in the BYC incubator section but it was overwhelming to say the least. Thanks!

did you see my post on incubators? you need a thermostat and a computer fan and a ceramic light socket, old cooler

Awesome
day 8 I think so far so good.   like I said your gonna have to take the majority into consideration, and you can really see them, I can only see the tray in the image, so you judge them the best you can.  some seem smaller and yes some large, but you see that as well. dont fret you cant help for that unless you have bators for each eggs level ya know thats shipped eggs for you. the only suggestion is put the ones that need humidity closer to the water source if there is one. dont know if that would help or not, but worth a shot.  dont go adding water just for them and messing the others though.       sometimes like with my coolerbators I will put the ones that need more weightloss right up in front of the lights, or the ones that need more humidity in a applesauce cup so they dont get as much air blown on them.  but this stuff wont work for you. I think your ok for now, see what happens until day 14 and stick with us, maybe we can pull some tricks out of the hat!

Will do, thanks!

look at this link, it even gives you the CHEAPER items you can purchase if need be, but I do suggest purchasing the wafer thermostat its well worth buying!!

pull a computer fan out of something from goodwill or salvation army, ask a friend on FB or ask on CL or something, they are like 5.00 free shipping on ebay
and you can use an 20v input 12v DC output USED adaptor/transformer/inverter. We used one from an old phone or something like that. and a dollar store extension cord.
