Watching paint dry holds more interest for me than watching hunting breeds trotting around a ring on choker leads. Most hunting breeds couldn't perform in the field if their lives depended on it; neither could the field-breds perform in the show ring. Neither are built, with few exceptions, to perform in the other's area of expertise. JMO

thats what I was wondering, I did marans long ago under a hen and she kept kickin eggs out.
