I think that is a swell idea. He won't become rich but it will help offset some of the cost of his hobby. I would be proud if my kids did something like that.

I sell the eggs to pay for feed.once my hens start laying I will hatch to sell chicks

Sorry, missed this earlier... yes, but minimal... and these are from a new, young layer...

It's not a big deal. I was just wondering because I want to hatch call sucks next year and have read that they need assistance.

I have austrolorps, white jersey Giants, new hampshires, Delawares and one Minorca who is my baby.

I just took another pain pill..... I feel fine, but after last night I think I deserve to have a good day

I have a serama chick that may want me to ring its little lovely .......  so its sitting there lookin at me chirpin all morning and wont shut up!  I am not gonna hold the chick!  and its not the meds.... its just sitting there, its eating and drinking and just sits staring chirpin at me!!!!!  I think the meds are making me a bit annoyed at the little booger though....... suggestions????

Jersey Giants are super cool but they eat a ton!!!! Very docile and friendly. I have one that jumps up on my window every morning to say good morning now feed me some grub!! Delawares are not the nicest birds but good for other things.
