@Ur-ur-ur-urrr which hygrometer did you suggest?
@Sally Sunshine where in your information does it tell how to calibrate a digital one?
I use an IncuTherm Plus. It's the same as the IncuTherm, but has a remote sensor so you can place the monitor outside the bator.

While most analog hygrometers can be calibrated, most (but not all) digital hygrometers can't. If not, you just keep note of how much they are off and compensate for it. The easiest way to check your hygrometer is to take a small container and almost fill it with table salt. Add enough water to make a thick slurry... like wet sand. Put the container of salt slurry and hygrometer in a zip-lock bag and let it set for 12-24 hours. If the hygrometer is accurate, it should read 75%. If not... compensate. Example: salt test reading is 72%. This means your hygrometer is off by -3%. You simply run your hygrometer 3% higher than your target humidity, and you should be fine. Hope this helps...

Digital thermometers most times have a reset button, sometimes take a 8 second +/- hold time to get into cal mode/freezing point or boiling point of water is achieved, simply hold the button and that’s it. let me go find the link on this thread where I have the suggestions for hygro thermos brb
