My heart is breaking tonight. I had previously talked to my wife about the HAL, and even mentioned the "prizes". She knew I had entered for the MPC contest and didn't win, but she obviously forgot all about he HAL. When I told her I needed to go pick up my eggs, she commenced to telling me that we didn't need any more chicks right now... we have enough. REALLY??? I want to hatch more chicks... she doesn't... so we compromised and are not hatching any more chicks until next year.

I did, however, put my foot down and told her that I am... with no uncertainty... joining in the Easter HAL. She said okay. Best of luck to everyone who is participating in this HAL...
