Trap, or bang-bang?Another predator just bit the dust.
I've accounted for a slew of whistle-pigs from the same sort of towerBang bang. Out of my sniper tower. (Master bath window). Bobcat on the stalk.
Compromise is a good thing. Spring will be here before you know it!!!My heart is breaking tonight. I had previously talked to my wife about the HAL, and even mentioned the "prizes". She knew I had entered for the MPC contest and didn't win, but she obviously forgot all about he HAL. When I told her I needed to go pick up my eggs, she commenced to telling me that we didn't need any more chicks right now... we have enough. REALLY??? I want to hatch more chicks... she doesn't... so we compromised and are not hatching any more chicks until next year.![]()
I did, however, put my foot down and told her that I am... with no uncertainty... joining in the Easter HAL. She said okay. Best of luck to everyone who is participating in this HAL...![]()

Only ever seen one of them...in OK in '66Yep it's never ending. Shot 3 coyotes this week too.
Coyote or bobcat? I've been up close and personal with both. I was deer hunting both times, and set up on the ground. A bobcat caught the smell of the cover scent on my boots, and trailed me until it was within 40 yards. It spotted a blob (me), and stood there a good 5 minutes trying to figure out what I was. I'd bob my head, and it's ears would stand up and it's head would weave from side to side trying to figure me out. Since I wasn't hunting bobcat that day, and I was getting tired of holding my rifle on it, I eventually squalled at it and it flew out of there like it's tail was on fire! LOL!Only ever seen one of them...in OK in '66
