I do! Or did, anyway. Bee guy said not to worry 'bout them; good cold snap will get rid of them. The birds ain't bothered with them; sticking their head right in amongst them to feed.
Soon as they empty the feeder, any day now, I'll take it apart & treat it. Never been bothered with them til now.

see if the shaker of garlic works for now if ya want. its the quicker fix

Hello everyone! I came to this thread because I just set 14 eggs in my new IncuView yesterday. I am going to have an assortment of chicks, and I hope you all wil help me along the way! This is my first time using an incubator, and I have only ever used broody hens.

Roxy! Glad you made it over! I knew my Joey would be able to fix ya up! welcome to the thread! sorry been off trying to get some stuff done around the house. didnt get much done though. just seem to sit with the pups all the time.

@Sally Sunshine CUTE puppies! I wouldn't be able to let go when the time comes. I'd want to keep everyone of them I hope everyone is doing well. I have 10 duck eggs (WH, Pekin/Swedish/KC) on day 23 in the incubator. 6 eggs still have clear small ends. All are active and have good veining. One that is full actually looks like it has already dipped down and could hatch any day. What does it mean to still have some clear egg on day 23?

I love seeing duck candle images!! clear at the top? do you have cool spots in the bator? are you rotating them eggs around in the bator during your incubation at all?

What do all of you do when you get too many chickens? Do you give them away, slaughter them, sell them?

I dont plan on waiting that long I have too many serama eggs in and i gotta throw some out tired of rollin all these all ready!

Dry until mixed with water and vinegar "with Mother". Sally made a video on how to mix it, but I'm having a little trouble locating it. Maybe shoot her a PM?

We went out shopping for a bit after my last post. A few hours after posting complaining there hasn't been a peep/pip, and now there's a pip. Just one. But it works! Note to self, always complain about lack of pips... Always seems to work.

Also, Fuzzybutt, the singleton from one of the previous hatches, is a boy. At almost 4 weeks old his pea comb is more pronounced than any of the Ameraucana 12 week olds I have currently I'm sure it will start pinking up in the near future.
