i turned mine and was going to candle, but didnt want the early disappointment from the serama eggs, I like to do that before bed and forget about it

It looks as I will have a lot of clears. 10 eggs from pullets that just started laying.

Had to get photos of our Golden playing in the snow. I've had three now, and every one of them always stuck their head/nose into the snow! Had fun with one photo, framed it. She looked so cute looking back at me. She was looking for her ball, because I had asked her..where is it? She started running around and checking under the snow. I just love this girl. My first female Golden. They are always sweethearts.

That's what I thought, I'll keep it 'till Friday, just in case but I think I'm down to 41. Does the shadow mean it was fertile? I had one that had no shadow at all and like bubbles that rolled around inside. I tossed that one. It was my wrinkley egg.

I usually wait until day 10 before I remove my clears just be safe. It may start growing later than expected. But should be developing fie sure by day 10.

I took it @rossfam06 swellin is down after that and ice, sure slept good too.

Excellent!!!!! Now make sure you tell your doc you had a reaction to that vaccine!

My doc insisted on that flu shot yesterday and the lung one too, my arm is gettin big and hot. but why would it be doin it now? it was put in there yesterday afternoon!

Here are my little Seramas that hatched Friday and Saturday. These were the babies that were all malpositioned. All doing fine now. Three hatched by themselves and four were assisted. One of them hatched and then just laid there all day and all night. He would stretch a little and breathing fine but wouldn't try to get up or open his eyes. Everything was absorbed and he looked totally ready, he just didn't want to face the world yet. He was the second to last to hatch. When the last one hatched and was running around, then this guy decided to get with it and he opened his eyes and got up. Been running around ever since. I have seven eggs in the mind reading bator. So far, so good. It's holding temp and humidity well. I only worry about the turning. I have to pivot the top part around to move the wire rack to roll the eggs. Seems a little jerky for my liking. Plus, they don't get turned on a very good schedule having to rely on me. I haven't really candled the eggs yet, But I can shine a light through the side and into the eggs enough that I can see some development going on. I set these on the 11th from my own hens, (Seramas), and that frees up my R-com for the shipped eggs that I am still expecting..... Sorry to write a book, I just can't get on here much lately! Camera flashed and they all ran to the corner...There are two tiny black ones in the back.

Pretty normal day ahead for me- getting kids fed and ready for school... Laundry.... Staring at the bators waiting for Friday to candle... Lol. Finished my Christmas shopping last night

Yeah I get those darn shot knots every time. Those things hurt too!!! I bruise and have a sore arm for days

I won't get them unless I absolutely have to anymore.

I get them every year...have to....bad lungs.....but I've only gotten the flu once....
