Skipping ahead to say we have a blonde chick! e Time of birth: 9:12 pm! lol The other pips: Red circle was the first, I sent that pic to hubby to show him. Second pip is #3. Pip #2 is the blonde chick. There might be another pip, but its along one of my sharpie marks so I can't tell if it is part of the sharpie, a pencil mark, or a crack. And Blondie is crying up a storm in that bator...

So... my little chick died last night. It was sad. But probably for the better. It was drinking just fine but no eating. so Sally that leaves me with 2 of your project birds left.

That's sad. At least you have two other chickies.

He's out, was stuck to the membrane in spots. Plus feet are curled. Back in incubator to dry. Will wait and see. Should I put some ointment on the navel area?

Now I guess it is time to open up the air cell on the other one to check for signs of life.
