Update-- EggYolk Chick is alert, active, and LOUD, lol, not happy about being alone. Drinking, havent seen her eat yet.

In the bator, I have have what appeasrs to be 8 healthy chicks!

How long after they BARELY break the shell, should I expect and "air hole" kinda pip?

Oh my gosh.. I love you people

It somehow went from eggs to electricity, waterers, etc. You people are crazy.

I have one egg (Day 9) that I can see two chicks in.... Wonder how this'll go. Threw out that one egg this morning, didn't have time to candle all of them, doing that now. I showed my little cousin, who's 8, the eggs as I candled them, and she was yelling and pointing every time the chick moved, as they were all bouncing around and moving everywhere. She thought it was crazy, and didn't believe me last month when I told her chicks grow in the eggs

So when I showed her, she just about flipped. I told her she might be able to have 3 or 4 of them, because her mom and dad were looking into some chicks and just ordered a coop for Christmas (She doesn't know about the coop, or the fact some of the chicks will be hers, and her mom told me to tell her maybe)

I love incubating in the livingroom now, the kids I watch are always asking me questions and wanting to look in the bators and ask to see me candle one. its amazing. the real little ones dont get it though, they come in one day and bam those eggs they eat turned into chicks...

All this upgrade talk makes me want to upgrade. I bought to kitty litter pans at the dollar store one for water one for food. I would love to upgrade I think I'll have to go over to my paps junk pile tomorrow and see what I find and maybe I have some old pvc pipe left over from my uncle when he fixed his plumbing. Well I have my plan for tomorrow now since I told my family I'm taking off tomorrow lol I wasn't sure what I was gunna do with all that free time

thanks sally I'm still learning how to step back and breath once and a while but I'm getting there and if you met me as a teenager you would have figured I would be in jail by now my step dad is a big guy a coal miner and tough as nails and just last year he admitted that he was scared poop less of me to the point that he slept with one eye open but thank God i grew out of that and my juvenile record were sealed when I turned 18 lol
