Still on generator?

Yep, still burning diesel. Both generators purring like kittens and we have 100% power which is very nice. Upfront expensive and they don't get used a whole lot but definitely worth it when you need it. I think the longest we've burned diesel fuel was 9 days.

Yep, still burning diesel. Both generators purring like kittens and we have 100% power which is very nice. Upfront expensive and they don't get used a whole lot but definitely worth it when you need it. I think the longest we've burned diesel fuel was 9 days.

Mercy! Sure hope you're not in for another 9, even if the fuel prices are falling like a rock.

Back before I had this pair of automatic generac's (1 for outbuildings and 1 for house) I had the 2 services on isolation throws. Would have to bring a pair of 4020's home with PTO driven generators. We've always had power but now I don't have to do anything. After 3 minutes they kick on and after power is restored, they kick off 3 minutes later.

I assume you have bulk tanks for the farm?
