If I ever hatch chicks again I will have an incubator if only on stand by for lockdown.

No more peeps or pips Everyone is warm and happy to be with each other so I am off to bed

Good morning everyone the storm were having here was pretty bad the power just came back on thank good I was up at five to through a blanket over the incubator it only dropped down to 98 if it would have gone down any lower I would have had to walk out in this storm to my mems since my jeep broke to hook the Bator up to here power pack that would have stunk but it's just about back up to temp so no worries check on the chickens in this storm a big branch came down on the coop it must of scared the young ones out into the rain I found one dead one barely alive and one soaked and doing fine I brought both in one is in the bath tub gorging on its breakfast the other that was barely alive is in the brooder drying out and will hopefully improve once I get her bones warmed she is already looking better she is snuggle with my sweet baby and pecked the bully and put him in his place and now they are all snuggling but I won't be happy till she eats for me

I would give them another day. Definitely candle one last time before giving up. If there is movement, throw them back in!

Not being candled, but can tell the draw down best on the egg on the top left, second egg. You can see how the line..dips. I put the dip..draw down, facing up. The bottom egg shows it kind of good too. Also, the one under the Temp/Humidity G.

Well, the 3 that were in the Christmas lockdown - 2 had definite movement still and 1 had possible movement. So I left them in the lockdown 'bator and just added the 1/1 hatch a longs. I threw in 1 other that we added to the mix a day later. There were 2 added the 12th, but 1 was a quitter.

So, I should have had 7 in the bator for the 1/1 hatch, but I have 11 in there right now. At what point to I give up on the 12/26 chicks that haven't hatched yet?

Joey! no I admit NOTHING! seriously I tried to time them to hatch together for once lol. but I think the big cabinet bator was running hotter. oh well, maybe I will grab a serama and see if they are close once this one hatches out and ups the humidity. IDK maybe there will be pips in them until then too.
