I have starling problems here
Everyone thinks they are so cute
They are a horrible invasive species wrecking havoc
Not going to say how I'm dealing with them

We have the occasional little flock of them come through, and they wreak havoc everywhere. They are cute, but they aren't fun.

There is another option for deworming. It is human deworming substance called Vermox .
The active ingredient is Mebendazole , which is a wide dewormer action affects all kinds of worms. The affective dosage is 30 mg/kg chicken.
In suspension it is 1.5ml/kg chicken
In tablet it is 1/3 tablet for 1 kg chicken. Normally in standard chicken you should use 1 tablet for a chicken.
You should deworm another time 10 days after the first.

I think some might worms require 3 days treatment.

agree!
But from my practical experience 2 dosage in an interval of 10 dayes had really done the job!

Moved chicks to new enclosure last night, still have a gate up 24/7 just in case, but the little dog can climb fences. It's weird.. Well, the Border Collie Reba Gurardian is still here, and she can easily jump the gate. Here as long as she can, until I force her out to take a break. Got a new bulb yesterday, ran out of 120 Watt bulbs, only had 250 Watt Red ones, which was annoying, but it worked in the meantime. Doggies can't get in anymore.

Starlings are classified as an invasive species in the US... they are native to Europe not the US... it is not illegal to deal with them in any way you see fit... :D ;)
