Thanks! Here are babies I hatched for the NYD hatch along. There are more than this but they won't hold still!!! I've got more in the incubator right now too.

oh how Lovely as chicks too!! DANG I am going to pest you in a message as to how to acquire them! I honestly love the looks and was reading about them today! I have that thread on here to read yet though

Our friend Chicken Hawk 33's goat has a touch of the scours. We're planning electrolytes, probiotics/yogurt. possibly some pepto. We'll look at how much it's eating, frequency and what. I would consider antibiotics, since it missed it's dam's colostrum, need to research it first.

@LocalYokel or anyone else. Any additional idea?

Thanks,
Mike

Red Cell orally? if anemic

Injectable Iron, b complex, B complex can't be overdosed

Viatmin E, gelcaps

Should be isolated

has it had the scours longer than a day?

Temperature?

Do you know if the scours are getting thicker

First 1-2 days really need liquids more than anything else

Electrolytes, Bounce Back , Sav A Caf PLUS, Resorb

BOVI SERA Serum.

Cocci kills ALOT under a few weeks age.
Possibly treat for that

I looked this stuff up
Im not a vet

Yes Thanks.
Just to ice the cake the building fire alarm went off. They go off all the time - it is a large university campus.
Due to the cars floating in flooded intersections the fire dept could not get over here to turn it off till just now.
It is going to continue to rain till midnight so figure I will stay put till then (catch up on work) and the roads clear.
Whew! I know it had to have been nerve-wracking...we get them quite often here in MS. Not something to take lightly. Glad you're okay!

How much do ya'll sell NON bloodlines chicks for? pullets? hens? just curious what the market is around the country..

round here, you can find hens for $12 (super cheap-questionable source lol), to $23- higher price usually, 4h club prices.
All I ever see around here for sale at the feed stores are day old chicks. They are supposedly sexed - 90% estimate that they are pullets. Mostly around $6. There is a smaller feed store up the coast from me, where I got day old chicks for $4 - I got 12 - they were all female.

I like froo froo, I like cheap, I like local, and I like stuff that sells. Best hatch ever: the lady selling EE/OE eggs for $5 a dozen. I need to hatch something I don't intend to keep. It's driving me crazy that I'm getting eggs and lost my roo.

If you seriously want some I can get em to ya

The RIRs? Let me think about it. I'm not turning up anything on fb, CL, or bookoo.
