You need a rifle

Plenty of rifles. I can't just sit out there all the time though. The only reason I even know he is bothering the birds is because my bedroom window is ground level, the back of the house is built into the hill, and the peacock and Guinea pens are right outside my bedroom window so me and the dogs wake up easily to any commotion out there. I am an animal behaviorist and have worked with lions, so I understand them pretty well. I do wish that if he's going to lurk around I could at least get a picture of him! Ya know?

yes. I have a menagerie. Two Peruvian Paso horses, four cows, three Saanen, one Nubian, one Boer, and one Boer kiko goat, two pigs, two indoor and a barn cat, and 29 assorted types and ages of chickens two of which are very ill

I have two crested cream legbar and two BCM (one rooster one hen) together in a pen where it's going to get down to 22 every night the next week. I will be out of town and want to make sure things go smoothly for chase, since he will be running the farm solo.

They have a tarp to trAp some warmth but no coop. Will they be ok?

Good morning!! Wow, over 100 pages behind. I did see posts about Mountain Lions, too bad there were no photos!! Congrat's again on the Trudy winners!!

I took a bunch of photos this morning, but my computer is having trouble with them. It's seems to only like the bad ones... Thee are my current babies hatched between 12/26 and 1/2. :







But for the store bought babies, does anyone know what kind of chicken this is? It was a brown baby, then got black feathers, then the white feathers started coming in.

I will post first..I call her Uggums. She will look better..someday. Laugh all ya want, I already chuckle when I look down at her in the brooder and say..hey Uggums..what ya doin? She is so sweet and comes a runnin.

This little black one is so laid back and sweet..easy going! Love her.

This is a porcelain. Haven't had one of those before, so thought I would keep her, and
she looks like she just may be frizzled. Her mom isn't, and her mom is Gorgeous. Dad
was the frizzle SG.
