Just hooked the decoy trailer up and going to smack down on some geese in the morning. Mama and Brit will have to start chores without me!! LOL. I love it when I'm able to sneak away for a bit. Zoey is fired up and ready to hunt.

Any experienced hatchers online right now? I'm a total newbie and need help! I'm a licensed vet tech and have raised all kinds of critters but I'm freaking about my first hatch. I have a borrowed Janoel 12 and shipped eggs. (Apparently a disaster waiting to happen.) Any advice is greatly appreciated! I just got the eggs today and I think they are scrambled

How's your wood cutting going?

Fortunately, we didn't have to drop any trees. A very large branch came down out of a Red Oak that was already there during the Civil War; Historical Society figures it's about 300 years old. Some tree experts had been there & had the branch all cut up; all we had to do was split & load it into 3 trucks. Great firewood, but nasty & knarly to split, but we managed, finally.

you candled and how are the air cells? did you calibrate thermometers? what temp are you running? fan or no fan in a Janoel? And welcome!

and by reading some of your posts and seein your avy I will guess they are polish eggs? which dont travel well unfortunately
